Ceruminous gland adenocarcinoma: a case report
Main Article Content
Abstract
Ceruminous gland adenocarcinoma is an uncommon neoplasm of the external auditory
canal; the disease has been described in the literature through case reports,
therefore consensus or guidelines about treatment does not exist. We present the case
of a 57-year-old male patient, with diagnosis of ceruminous adenocarcinoma based on the results of immunostaining. The patient underwent surgery for treatment with extended resection of the lesion, obtaining negative margins during the procedure
and the consequent reconstruction of the skin with a flap at the same time.
